Felipe Alexandre de Lima holds a bachelor’s degree (2012–2015) in International Trade and a master’s degree (2017–2018) in Business Administration from the University of Fortaleza, Brazil. For his Ph.D. (2019–2022, summa cum laude) at the University of Kassel, Germany, he investigated “Risk Management and Sustainability Performance in Circular Supply Chains.” Felipe was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie researcher (2019–2022) in the Realizing the Transition to the Circular Economy (ReTraCE) Project.
He worked as a postdoctoral researcher (Oct. 2022–Sep. 2023) at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium.
He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher (Oct. 2023–Apr. 2025) at the Center for Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chains, Kühne Logistics University, Germany.
He is currently a senior research assistant (May 2025–present) at the Chair of Sustainability Management, TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability, Technische Universität München, Germany.
Felipe’s key research interests are (Sustainable) Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, Sustainability, and Circular Economy. He works with conceptual (e.g., systematic literature review and critical essay) and empirical studies (e.g., case research, Delphi, and social media analytics).
